RSS help

An RSS feed is a way for you to be kept automatically informed whenever one of your favourite websites is updated. That way you don’t have to keep checking them all every day to see if anything has been added.

The ETC Blog has two available RSS feeds - one for posts and one for comments.

In order to use this feature, you will need what’s called an RSS reader (also known as a News Aggregator) installed on your computer. These are available either as a standalone program or as a plug-in for your web browser or email client.

There are lots of RSS readers available, many of them are completely free.

If you use Firefox there are many different RSS reader extensions available freely.

If you use Internet Explorer, take a look at this list of IE compatible RSS readers.

These are not exhaustive lists, so try searching in Wikipedia, Google or other search engines to see what you find.
